I have made three of these floral hearts so far...they are flying out the door!They are very fun to make and each one is unique.Also some floral sets for your spring designs.I am trying some new things for me also,so check back for updates.

Diamonds

I have a new shape of press for my Lampwork beads.It's called a Chunky Crystal.Lots of names come to mind with this shape like,Diamond,Bicone etc. I love it! It adds another dimension to my beads and it's fun to mix the shapes in a design.I've been working on Valentine beads too.Here's some eye candy for your Wednesday!

New Beads!

This is the time of year when retailers and florists get ready for the big day, Valentines Day. Being in the flower business for 25 years taught me to be prepared!
So I have been making some real cute Valentine beads,soon to be listed in my Etsy and Artfire shops.Remember, your local florist works very hard for this holiday,so give 'em some love!( I don't miss it one bit on this holiday!)

I have been remiss in blogging this month...busy like everyone else! Santa brought me a new laptop so maybe I'll be better at it in 2011.
First, I want to congratulate my niece,Lisa for making it in to Bead Star magazine!Her beautiful Polymer clay and antique brass bracelet won second place in the Plastics category.( I wish they wouldn't call it that)This is a once a year publication and winners are voted on by the readers.Here's a link to her Etsy:

Last Show...

Lisa and I did our last jewelry show of the year yesterday at Harstine Island's Holiday House Bazaar.It was fun as always,but cold! We stopped at the Olympic Bakery on the way home to get some rolls and started looking at all the wonderful cheeses they offer.The owner came out and asked if we would like to sample some.Of course!We sampled some of the best cheeses I've ever eaten with a little wine tasting between.He was very knowledgeable and layed back,no hard sell.It was a very nice ending to our day and our craft show season.
